This hotel had a very central position in the Cotswolds. I loved queen room with a 4poster bed.

Well-maintained and truly exceptional place, I liked well managed personnel.

Its historic, central location was a plus.

Well decorated rooms with facilities like coffee/tea makers, iron and ironing board, and a work desk;)))

And it was 10 minutes on foot from the downtown.

A good, middle of the road hotel. The beds lacked a good standard of comfort but the quality and quantity of the food made up for that shortcoming. Although in the town the hotel was remarkable for the very low...

Noise disturbance from the bar disrupted sleep!!! Inconsistent WiFi service made working difficult!!! Rooms could really use some modern updates and better toiletries!!!

The outside garden- the restaurant , bar area which gave guests a variety of places to eat and relax.

I would not say that we were welcomed on arrival neither the manager or the owner took the trouble to introduce themselves to us during our 5 day stay - we know the manager was named Andy only because the locals were calling his name. The owner did not introduce himself at all and as there were only 16 rooms in the hotel it would not have been hard for either of them to be a little more congenial. Considering we stayed for 5 days we had the worst room in the hotel which was very small and hot - room 16 which was on the top floor and very cramped. having said this the overall ambience of the hotel the staff and other guesta made for a pleasant stay. I would recommend to other travellers because of the location.

I enjoyed the restaurant, the menu and the standard of cuisine. I also enjoyed how attentive and efficient the staff proved to be. They also presented as friendly and welcoming.

Couple's charming getaway

The breakfast was just amazing, so many choices! Plus, the staff was friendly, they treated us like family.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although I had booked the single room, this was still occupied when I arrived, so I was given a double room at the same rate. Bedroom was comfortable and good TV with all free view channels...
